Japanese flower and harvest shears in a professional design with leather locking mechanism. They are very thinly forged and intended for cutting flowers and harvesting fruits such as apples or grapes. Suitable for woody stems up to 5 mm, provided that cutting is not done at the tips! You should only use the tips to cut flowers and thin fruit stems!
The shears are manufactured in a traditional way, incorporating many elements from the Japanese swordsmithing process.
A special feature is the use of a conical screw to attach the blades, allowing the shears to be used for a long time without the screw loosening. An experienced craftsman sharpens the blade, which is why the shears have excellent cutting quality.
Hardened KA70 carbon steel (58 – 60HRC) is used for the blade of this robust, high-quality tool.
