This natural Nagura stone is used to create a sharpening paste on the surface of the whetstone to refine the sharpening pattern and to give the stone a higher grip. Just a few movements on the stone are sufficient for this purpose – the sharpening paste should not be too thick. The Nagura stone is applicable on all whetstones from medium to fine grit. It performs its task on both synthetic and natural whetstones.
Since each stone is individually cut, sizes vary significantly.
