Special axe for hunters. The front profile of the axe head is designed in a convex, arc-shaped manner – in contrast to other axes, where the profile is usually concave. The arc-shaped design of the axe draws on the tradition of Native American tomahawks. The neck is forged narrower and thinner than usual, slightly rounded and polished to skin animals with it. The axe can be used like a skinning hammer when „striking from the hide” of game. The shape of the axe head reduces the risk of cutting and skinning damage. With this axe, you can chop wood as well as disassemble game meat and cut bones. The handle grip is equipped with circular notches, ensuring a firm hold even when the hand is wet and slippery. This axe was the first and only one in Sweden to receive an award for outstanding design from the Swedish Form Association.
