This polishing paste is highly effective. It is composed of a blend of chromium and aluminum oxide to achieve the best combination of grinding speed and surface quality. The binder is optimized for quick loading of the grinding tool. It adheres equally well to felt, leather, and wood.
The polishing paste grinds quickly and leaves a mirror-like surface with a light wax layer. The average depth of the grinding marks left by the polishing paste is 0.5 micrometers (0.0005mm). This polishing paste is ideally suited for carving tools and gouges but can be used for honing almost any tool. You can use it with a felt wheel or a leather strap on the machine, but also with a leather strop by hand.
