This FAMAG hardwood auger bit is suitable not only for European hardwood but also for significantly harder tropical hardwoods such as Bongossi. It features no pre-cutter, as is common with hardwood auger bits, but includes a special undercutter. This keeps heat generation to a minimum. Made of high-performance tool steel with a long service life. Comes with a hexagonal shank for a secure grip in the drill.
Recommended revolutions: 700 – 2250 min-1, depending on the size, the larger the bit, the fewer revolutions. For example, with the 12 mm bit, 1500 min-1 is recommended.
