With these kits, you can easily make your own wooden clamps. The instructions include drawings for making clamping jaws as used in traditional wooden clamps. However, you can also create special clamping jaws, for example, for round or irregularly shaped workpieces. Similarly, you can make wooden clamps with particularly deep, long, or narrow jaws for specific applications. The kits contain the same spindles and barrel nuts for each wooden clamp that Dubuque uses in its own wooden clamps. The wood for the jaws is not included. The specified dimensions are the maximum opening/ clamping range. Matching hardwood handles are available separately in pairs. Note: The measurements in the instructions are in inches and not metric. A kit contains: Two spindles with left-/ right-hand threads, Two barrel nuts with right-hand threads, Two barrel nuts with left-hand threads, Two sturdy metal clamps (for the wooden handles), Two metal pins (adhere to the instructions).
