They always fit tightly, even if the hole is 0.4 mm too large.
The first part of the dowel is cylindrical and has a rounded tip, allowing for easy insertion before the conical part slows down.

This safety and dust cover for STAR-M circular cutters has an inner diameter of 165 mm, an outer diameter of 200 mm, and an inner depth of 125 mm.
You do not need the included adapter when using STAR-M circular cutters. However, it is useful if you want to use other drilling tools.
