Additional information about the carpenter's vise No. 53ED with quick adjustment

The vise should be secured with sufficiently large screws on a plate that cannot tip over. Keep in mind that this vise weighs 9 kg! We recommend M10 hexagon head screws for the rear holes, which are countersunk from above into the plate. For the front holes (i.e., near the jaw), we recommend 10 mm thick wood screws with hexagon heads, screwed in from below. The heads and nuts of the screws should be equipped with washers. You can easily cover the jaws with wood after assembly if you wish. Holes are provided for this purpose on the jaws.

Clamping width: 210 mm
Recommended wood thickness: 60 - 65 mm
Thinner plates can be doubled up at the mounting point!
