This router bit for creating delicate 4 mm wide box joints allows for very clean and precise work.
The box joint router bits from Sistemi Klein are equipped with carbide tips (HM). Due to their size, box joint router bits should only be used in a router that is mounted on a router table.
This router bit consists of 5 cutter discs, each with 4 mm wide cutting edges, and washers as spacers. The working range is from 22 to 45 mm. However, individual discs can also be omitted, allowing much thinner boards to be processed, see below.
The router bit is delivered assembled as pictured below. Additionally, the package includes two guide bearings with diameters of 29 mm and 34 mm. The guide bearings consist of a steel ball bearing core with an outer hard plastic ring and have an inner hole diameter of 8 mm. For routing depths not covered by the 3 guide bearings, a router fence should be used, allowing any desired depth.
