When attached to the Veritas Compact Router Base Plate, this fence and center kit lets you use the edge of a workpiece as a reference when making freehand cuts with a compact router. It can also be set to accurately guide the router when cutting arcs or circles. The 6 inch (152 mm) rods allow offsets from zero to 5 inch (127 mm) with the straight fences and diameters from 6 1/2 inch (165 mm) to 20 1/2 inch (520 mm) with the circle head.
It includes two straight fences made of torrefied maple (both 6 inch = 152 mm long, one 1 1/4 inch = 32 mm wide and the other 5/8 inch (16 mm) wide for thin stock), a pair of curve guides, and a circle head with three interchangeable centers (sharp pin, 1/4 inch = 6.35 mm post, and flat disc).
