This eye and face protection is worn like a visor. It is a great addition to a face mask because it prevents the moist speech of the person opposite from reaching your face. However, this shield can also be worn without a face mask and already provides protection against liquid particles, both for the wearer and for the person opposite. The transparent shield made of 0.5 mm thick, flexible PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) has a height of 200 mm and a width of 280 mm. Weight is only 45 g. A 25 × 25 mm thick foam insert is glued in the forehead area for comfortable wearing, preventing a gap between the headband and the visor, so that droplets cannot reach the face from above. With the adjustable headband, this shield can be adapted to any head size and also protects the area on the sides of the eyes, as the material, despite its stability, adapts well to the shape of the head.
