FISCH Forstner bits with wave edge allow for low-effort and fast cutting. They can be easily resharpened by hand. The wave edge (Wave Cutter) significantly reduces the pronounced risk of overheating the cutting edges that is typical with Forstner bits. With careful handling, it can be resharpened up to 30 times. Made in Austria.
Very easy to use! Based on our experience, this bit drills cleanly and without tear-out even when the recommended speed is not maintained. The Fisch Wave Cutter is the Forstner bit that requires by far the least pressure. Therefore, it is our recommendation when you need to drill very accurately freehand on delicate workpieces! Less pressure during freehand drilling means a lower risk of slipping and thus more safety for the surfaces of your workpiece.
