This drill-countersink set with a ball-bearing depth stop is especially used in decking construction to sink screws cleanly and precisely. The depth stop stops rotating when it contacts the workpiece. This helps you avoid unsightly marks on the surface.
The drill is made of alloyed tool steel and protrudes approximately 28 mm from the countersink. However, you can use any other wood or metal drill bit with a corresponding cylindrical shank diameter. This way, you are free in terms of length.
