These disc cutters from FAMAG, series 1616.1, feature carbide-tipped blades. Wherever larger quantities of tenons and discs are produced, a carbide disc cutter is the best solution due to its long service life, especially when it comes to processing hardwood. For particularly difficult-to-process exotic hardwoods, you shouldn’t even start with a disc cutter made of tool steel. Even if you have only manageable amounts of tropical hardwoods, this carbide disc cutter is indispensable. Use only in stationary machines or drill stands with reliable workpiece fixation! Please note that the disc cutters of 40 mm and 50 mm have a shank diameter of 16 mm!
