EZE-LAP manufactures a variety of different diamond products. This allows the user to choose the model that they believe best fits their needs. The wide range of diamond sharpeners includes small, flat stones that easily fit in a pocket and compact, portable, round diamond sharpeners that are ideal for anglers, hunters, and other outdoor enthusiasts, as well as larger diamond bench stones.
EZE-LAP produces its products with five different grits. This wide range of diamond grits allows you to find the right diamond tool for your sharpening application.
According to EZE-LAP, most sharpening tasks can be completed with the fine (600 grit) diamond. This fine diamond grit possesses the abrasive properties necessary to effectively sharpen a dull knife in less than a minute and hone the edge to razor sharpness. This fine grit is offered on all EZE-LAP diamond products. Round diamond sharpeners are only available in this grit.
If you need a sharpener that works quickly while still leaving a high-quality surface (suitable for shaving), EZE-LAP offers diamonds in a medium (400 grit) grit for this purpose.
For those who want to finish quickly but still achieve a good quality surface, EZE-LAP offers diamonds with a coarse (250 grit) grit. These diamond sharpeners are suitable for sharpening axes, shovels, gardening tools, and commercial tools, as well as for deburring.
If you want to remove material very quickly, use the extra coarse (150 grit) grit for roughing or coarse grinding.
If you want to achieve a very fine surface, then you should try the super fine (1200 grit) grit. The super fine grit is available on some selected flat products.
EZE-LAP products are made in the USA.
