Product information
These unusual diamond files are made from a diamond-coated copper foil that is glued to a bamboo support, which serves as a handle. Suitable for many types of metalworking. Wetting with water or oil increases the lifespan. Work with only light pressure! Available in grits 140 (coarse), 200 (medium-coarse), 400 (medium), 600 (fine), and 1200 (extra fine).
These diamond files come from the Japanese manufacturer Tsuboman, who offers them under the name Atoma Bamboo. This manufacturer is a leader in quality and technology, which is particularly important in this field, as not all diamond coatings are the same. The coating is dense, meaning without large gaps, which is by no means standard with all manufacturers. Only monocrystalline diamonds are used, which are significantly more expensive than polycrystalline diamonds, but have a much longer lifespan. The coating is applied through electrolysis.
These narrow diamond files are particularly handy for small tasks.
