The Deltagon SDS-plus hammer drills from Miyanaga are distinguished by a three-edge drill head made of solid carbide, which is connected to the drill spiral using a special process. In many other hammer drills with carbide tips, 2 or 3 individual cutting edges are brazed on. The Miyanaga process leads to longevity and greater accuracy during drilling. The holes become almost perfectly round and clean. Diameter wear – a problem with stone drills – is very low. The deep spiral grooves ensure effective removal of drill dust to the outside.
The Deltagon SDS-plus hammer drills from Miyanaga are certified by the PGM (Prüfgemeinschaft Mauerbohrer) and bear their test mark. Anchor fixings are only safe when high demands are also placed on the masonry drills. This test mark is only awarded if the manufacturing meets the state-of-the-art standards, a quality assurance system exists, regular samples are submitted, and strict social and environmental standards are adhered to.
