The dowel cutters from Star-M in Japan are carbide-tipped for a long service life. They are indispensable in carpentry, timber house construction, cabin construction, carport construction, etc. All sizes have a hex shank with a diameter of 9 mm.

When the bearing surface of a screw nut needs to be countersunk because it must not protrude over the workpiece surface, these dowel cutters are the right tool. After the hole for the screws or threaded rods is drilled, this dowel cutter is used.
