In a large-scale project, it is not always easy to properly align all clamps and individual parts for gluing, especially when using adhesives with short open times. This system simplifies the process by turning a table or workbench into a clamping platform where all clamps are held upright and in position, allowing you to focus solely on assembling the individual parts.
Each beam made of Baltic birch plywood features alternating 9.5 mm wide slots for bar clamps and 28 mm wide slots for 3/4-inch pipe clamps. The 762 mm long beams form a stable frame for clamping large-scale projects, with the largest clamping width determined by the maximum opening of the clamps. The 17.5 mm thick beams can be placed freestanding on any tabletop. Greater stability is achieved with the four included bench clamps, which fit into 19 or 20 mm dog holes.
In short, a simple method for straightforward, effective, and efficient glue-ups.
