This wooden cherry block for the Veritas scraper plane kit makes it significantly easier to get started. The plane iron bed is pre-milled, and the holes for the iron attachment are pre-drilled, allowing you to focus immediately on shaping the handle.
Laser-etched lines on the blank suggest a handle shape, but you are free to either follow this guide or create your own design. The blank measures 285 × 36 × 22 mm.
