Product information
With its blade that slightly bends out of the handle and is almost straight there, transitioning into a tighter radius, this carving knife is an ideal tool for crafting spoons and working on small bowls or even cups.
The special handle shape has proven to be interesting and very ergonomic, ensuring fatigue-free work. In the middle section, the handle is basically of square cross-section, slightly rounded, and tapers to a circular shape at both ends. This design prevents the knife from rolling off the surface when laid down.
Due to the longer length of the handle, this knife can be used with both hands to save effort, which, however, requires the workpiece to be securely clamped. The oak handle may seem too rustic for some users, while others appreciate its grip. In any case, the material’s abundance offers enough potential to customize the handle to personal preferences. The blade with a single-sided bevel can be used both towards the body and away from the body. The blade is slightly curved and made of edge-retaining, high-carbon steel.
The dark brown leather sheath not only protects the edge when the knife is not in use, but it also invites you to carry this tool safely during walks and hikes for occasional use.
Delivered together with a precisely fitted sheath made of cowhide leather.
Handle made of oiled oak.
