In terms of ergonomics, the new model even surpasses its predecessor. Version 2.0 now features hand-crafted grip scales made from silver anodized and textured aluminum. There’s also been an update in the blades department; the chisel has been replaced by the more versatile „Pelican blade.” All six blades securely lock in place after being fully extended, ensuring a reduced risk of injury.
- V-Gouge Scorpeisen: V-shaped cutting edges for working out correspondingly shaped recesses.
- Scorpeisen: Traditionally a 90° angled hollow chisel. The small radius of 4.8 mm (0.1875") allows for crafting narrow indentations.
- Gouge: Similar to a straight carving chisel with sweep 11 (without a mallet!), radius 5 mm (0.2").
- Knife with rounded hollow blade (hook knife): Ideal for carving in areas that a straight blade cannot reach. Perfect for hollowing spoons or removing a lot of material. Radius 19 mm (0.75").
- „Pelican knife,” blade length 36 mm: The curved blade allows for clean cuts. With a blade that tapers to a subtle point, the knife is very maneuverable.
- Knife with straight edge and point: for fine detail work as well as quick removal of wood on convex surfaces, blade length 36 mm
