This figure screw was specially developed for the Veritas vise. The screw thread is slightly conical and strongly pronounced, ensuring the workpiece is securely held. You can unscrew and reattach your workpiece multiple times without worry – it holds just as well as the first time.
The 86 mm long shaft has flats for a wrench. The brass nut has a contact surface for the workpiece with a diameter of 32 mm – an additional guarantee for a secure hold.
Pre-drill the workpiece with an 8-mm drill bit.
