Carpenter’s hatchets have a straight, long, and thin blade, creating an even cutting surface. The forged notch in the head of the hatchet allows the hand to be held almost directly above the blade, which increases stability and accuracy. The back of the hatchet can be used as a hammer; the handle is straight. The flat and straight shape of the hatchet is excellent for working with dry wood.
Delivery includes a leather blade guard.
