This box accommodates the combination plane, the second pair of rods for the fence, and up to two boxes for irons. Cutouts in the sides of the box hold the rods that secure the fence and ensure that the plane stands upright in the box. The lid engages guides in the lower part of the box when closed, keeping the plane and the rest of the box’s contents in place. The box is made in Canada from Baltic birch plywood. It measures approximately 368mm x 127mm x 229mm (14-1/2 inch x 5 inch x 9 inch) and features handles on both sides.
