The plane irons offered here are produced by Ron Hock in California. They were developed in collaboration with the people from James Krenov’s Fine-Woodworking Studio in Fort Bragg. These plane irons are approximately 90 mm long (3-1/2 in.) and 4.8 mm thick (3/16 in.). Plane irons of such thickness do not vibrate or chatter, even with the most challenging planing tasks. They are truly unbeatable compared to other irons. These irons come with a 3 mm thick chip breaker.
