Product information
A bevel is an excellent tool for transferring angles but not for reading or determining degrees. This Bevel Setter allows you to define and set angles, either on the bevel or directly on the workpiece. You can also read the degrees of existing angles. The reading is possible for angles from 0° to 60°, in 1/2° increments.
Both functions are extremely useful for dovetail joints, polygons, setting up machines, or fitting a workpiece into a difficult corner. The usual angle measurements for dovetails and polygons are marked on the back.
The etched stainless steel plate is 76 mm wide and 178 mm long. The thickness of 1 mm makes it very stable. This device is easier to use and more accurate than a conventional protractor or angle gauge.
This Bevel Setter allows you to define and set angles, either on the bevel or directly on the workpiece. You can also read the degrees of existing angles. The reading is possible for angles from 0° to 60°, in 1/2° increments. Images without included stop.
For the angles of dovetail joints and polygons, the stop is unscrewed and simply reattached on the other side.
