The SPANNFIX 4.0 with a jaw width of 100 mm is suitable for many applications. The clamping jaws can be easily replaced with just one screw each. They are rotatable, allowing either the smooth side or the side with prisms to be used for clamping round material.
Additionally, they can be equipped with various protective jaws. The 4 clamping pins, known as bench dogs in woodworking, expand the clamping range and adjust to the shape and size of the workpiece, as they are rotatable. One of these clamping pins is equipped with a spirit level, making it possible to align a workpiece horizontally if needed. The ball clamping force is outstanding. The head can rotate 360° and tilt up to 90°.
On the side of the sliding rail, there is an integrated ruler that allows clamping depths to be read directly. The 105 mm clamping width can thus be optimally utilized. The base with table clamp allows attachment to straight table edges up to 80 mm thick as well as to the table corner itself. The table corner is the optimal position to utilize the full working radius of this vise.
