The interchangeable pilot drill allows for precise freehand drilling on all workpieces where the hole should not be at a right angle to the material, such as with stair railings. Suitable for softwood, European hardwood, chipboard, MDF. The pilot drill is secured with a hexagon socket set screw and can also be replaced with a standard drill bit, giving it the same excellent properties as a traditional Bormax. The shaft is completely drilled through in length, so that with a supplied pin, resin-coated or jammed bits can be pushed out.
The 5-piece Staketen Bormax set includes drill bits with diameters of 16, 18, 20, 22, 25 mm, two pilot drills with a usable length of 20 to 30 mm, an angle key (2 mm) and comes delivered in a wooden box.
