These extra thin saw blades from the new Sistemi Klein series are particularly suitable for the increasingly popular battery-operated portable saws, but they perform just as well with mains-powered hand-held circular saws, miter and chop saws, as well as table saws. The laser-cut base plate, hardened up to 46 HRC, is fitted with teeth that are shaped and oriented according to application needs, made from selected fine-grained carbide KCR10. This material is largely resistant to stress and corrosion. Special slots ensure a noise-reduced operation and prevent warping and thus fluttering of the blade by reducing tension.
Overall, in addition to a longer battery life due to the narrow kerf, there is a higher feed speed, resulting in faster work progress and a more precise outcome, all while maintaining a quieter working environment.
As an example of the savings in material to be machined, the cutting widths of two blades with a diameter of 210 mm are compared:
- Conventional saw blade: 2.8 mm
- Extra thin saw blade: 1.8 mm
This results in a significant reduction in cutting width by 1/3!
