This pruning shear from Berger in Wuppertal features a very strong heart shaped spring. The blades are self-sharpening by rubbing against each other. The angle of the blade is slightly steeper than that of the shears described above, allowing for the occasional cutting of slightly woody parts, although proper loppers are better suited for that purpose.
The highlight of this shear is the soft coating on the handles, which ensures that even at low temperatures, you don’t feel like you’re holding cold iron. The blades are made from carefully hardened and tempered carbon steel – therefore not stainless and should be occasionally oiled. Comes in gift packaging!
