The MHG chisels with a flattened and oiled round handle are now also available in an innovative blade design that allows for clean work right into the corners, even with deep cuts. This is achieved by grinding the side bevels down to the flat side.
With this series in standard size and a flattened and oiled round wooden handle, MHG once again shows its innovation. These chisels are ground, not polished.
This series is also manufactured using a new forging process, which gives the tools high cutting durability, elasticity, and longevity. With their high grain density and the heat treatment quality of the high-alloyed material, performance characteristics are achieved that were previously reserved only for hand-forged tools. The hardness is 61 HRC (+/- 1) over the entire usable length.
