Affordable, lightweight, robust, and reliable – these are the now-famous Klemmsia clamps. No cumbersome screwing required – an eccentric lever is enough to generate pressure. For most gluing tasks, the pressure is sufficient, which is inherently somewhat lower than that of heavy malleable cast iron or all-steel clamps. When gluing chairs with round and curved parts, quite a bit of acrobatics is required if using conventional clamps with additional pieces. Klemmsia clamps provide unbeatable service here as they do not slip easily and can be used without additional pieces. The clamping arms are made from domestic white beech.
