Flush trim router bits are used for trimming overhanging laminated materials, such as veneers, to achieve a flat edge surface. The top bearing is guided along the edge of the substrate, while the cutting edges remove the excess material. In a flush trim router bit, the cutting edge and the bearing have the same diameter.
