SCHRÖDER Spiral Ratchet Screwdriver
chromium plated, with wooden handle, (usually black) made by SCHRÖDER/Wuppertal, with 6.35 (1/4 in.) hexagon collet chuck for bits and reversible double ended bits for professional use.
Important Advice: Unlike many similar tools which have a 1/4-inch square drive, with this tool, after a bit is placed in the driver, the chuck must be tightened by hand. This puts pressure on a hard rubber ring that holds the bit in place. If this ring is lost or slips out of place, the bit will not be held firmly in place.

What a customer said about this spiral ratchet:
I did want to thank you for a GREAT tool. As you said it is a pleasure to use.
What amazes me is there is no eccentricity to the ratcheting mechanism. With
the S......, I sometimes feel a pull of the device off center as one pushes
down on the handle. It is only slight though. But the mechanism on the
German made Schroeder is superb. And it is POWERFUL! I was putting up a
pegboard rack and had to drive 4" long drywall screws. I started using a
manual screwdriver and after driving in two screws and being exhausted, I
realized I could use the Schroeder. Three pumps and the screws are in!
Better than using an electric screwdriver! And I could very easily tighten
the screws with the Schroeder by locking the ratcheting mechanism. Manual
hand tools are amazing.
