Ryoba - Japanese Saw with ripcut and crosscut edge

The Ryoba is a saw for deep cuts both crosscut and ripcut. Picture: Dividing a 2 cm thick and 80 cm long board with a ryoba. This was finished within a few minutes.

Ryoba "Ecoprofi"
A fast, sturdy universal saw - ideal for deep cuts both across and with the grain - in the workshop or building site. The saw can be taken apart in one movement - great for small toolbags. Made by BAKUMA. It is not recommended to use different sizes of blades in one handle. Different blade thickness attracts different blade holder! KIJIMA Ryoba
an extraordinary fine, precise and fast saw - for fine cabinetry. Our top brand among those with exchangeable blades. These saws are resharpenable. The entire blade is made of very hard steel. The whole blade is grinded from thick material and the original thickness is kept in the shaft of the blade. So there is no need for any chucks, screws or levers in the blade area limiting the capacity. Thus you can use the whole blade conveniently. Not for beginners! Why?

Impulse hardened KIJIMA replacement blades with crosscut teeth on both sides
These blades are useful for all those, who only cut across the grain. One side is for coarse cuts, the other side for fine cuts. These blades fit all KIJIMA Ryoba handles.

Special ryoba saw for narrow places. The teeth of this saw are impulse hardened. The blade is interchangeable with all other Kijima ryoba saws. Not for beginners! Why?

This small Ryoba saw is only 39 cm (15 inches) long. The crosscut teeth are laser hardened and the blade can be exchanged. Disassembled this Ryoba is only 245 mm (9-1/2 inches) long, not longer than the blade with tang and thus finds its place in the smallest toolbox.

SILKY Ryoba Saw "Hibiki"
The "Mirai-Me" teeth cut with 4 cutting angles into the wood and are suitable for ripcut and crosscut. They leave a smooth surface after cutting. The blade is impulse hardened. The blade can be removed easily to store in a tool box.

The rubber handle offers superior grip. The teeth are non-set and taper ground. Thus the blade is thicker at the tooth edge than in the middle of the blade. It has the same effect as setting a saw with the advantage, that the cut is smoother and it is easier to hold the direction you want.

This saw is available in two types:
1. with large teeth (black handle). The blade has 15 TPI on one side and 10 TPI on the other side.
2. with fine teeth (white handle). The blade has 20 TPI on one side and 15 TPI on the other side.
Blades can be exchanged among each other. Comes with holster to carry on belt!
