Folding Rules from Sweden
Our folding rules are made by HULTAFORS in Sweden from a slowly growing birch near the Arctic circle.
This wood is very tough and hard and considered as the best for a wooden folding rule. The hinges are of Swedish steel, the rivets are not visible and oiled durable. The accuracy is according to EC-class III, = +-1 mm per 1m and +-1.4 mm per 2m.
The hinges are made of Swedish steel, not visible when folded and do not have visible rivets. They are smooth-running and click into place clearly audible. Decimal numbers are red for better readability. Clear varnish accentuates the birch wood.
The plastic folding rules also come with plastic folding rule with hidden hinges. The glass fiber reinforced plastic is waterproof, the scales are deeply edged. The accuracy is according to EC-class III, = +-1 mm per 1 m and +-1.4 mm per 2 m.
Pocket tape and Aluminium folding rule made by BMI
The Aluminium folding rule is the right chise if you are rsearching for an very accurate folding rule. The BMI pocket tape is suitable for inside and outside measurements. Both tools’ accuracy is according to EC class II, which requires +-0.5 mm per 1 m; +-0.7 mm per 2 m; +-0.9 mm per 3 m; +-1.3 mm per 5 m.

These extra-hard indelible pencils leave a distinct, long-lasting mark on a moist surface (it is often helpful to wet the surface first with a spray-mist bottle). Suitable for use in scribers, they mark with very little pressure, allowing you to concentrate on accuracy.
Notice: the purple color will appear only on a moist surface, on dry wood the mark is grey!
