In most instances we ship on the same day that we receive your order, if it reaches us by 3:00 p.m., local time, on a business day. On unusually busy days, orders may not be shipped until the following business day. Detailed information regarding shipping costs and transit times are available at here. Should you wish to return a purchase, we will arrange to have the item(s) picked up at your residence or place of business or employment, free of charge (Free returns only within the European Community).

Although our ordering software and hardware is highly reliable, it is possible, though infrequent, that your order may not get through due to an illegible fax, an interrupted on-line transmission, or other uncontrollable factors. If you have not heard from us within two days after placing your order, please call.

Our warehouse

96 % of all items in our online-catalog are in stock in our warehouse and can be shipped immediately. Items which are readily obtainable are promptly restocked, but may occasionally have be back-ordered, causing a few days' delay in shipping. Should such a delay occur, we will either inform you immediately, or ship a partial order and ship the back-ordered items separately by the fastest available means, at no extra cost (Free shipment of backorders only within the European Union).

We obtain many of our tools directly from overseas. Re-stocking tools from these sources takes much longer because of the distances involved and we therefore keep relatively large number in stock. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are able to ship these tools, almost without exception, in time frames no longer than those for items obtained domestically.

Item that we do not keep in stock

Our store is located in the center of the city of Berlin; warehouse space is limited and expensive. Consequently, we do not keep in stock items which require much space, or for which there is little demand, if they can be obtained on short notice. The list of these items is short:

• Thread-cutting tools (order numbers 301855 through 301866) - delivery time approx. 1 week! We keep at least one example of these tools on display at our store.

Everything else is generally in stock at the warehouse. We'll be happy to answer your all inquiries regarding availability of tools.
