Frame Saws, Bow Saws, Turning Saws

The frame saw can be used in many applications, for rip cut (resawing), cross cut and sawing curves. The frame saw may have been largely supplanted by machines these days, but it still gives the experienced user an easy and fast solution to many and varied problematic sawing jobs. The sawblades for the various frame saws can be used in exchange for each other in the frames as long as the length is the same. ECE's frame saw's central bar is of light, elastic tropical wood, and a butterfly nut on the thread at the end of a steel rod is used to exert the tension. Important: frame sawblades must be released after use, because the strain on the various parts is intense when they have been tightened. Replacement blades are kept in stock for all the saws. Universal saw with Japanese blade made by ECE This frame saw with a high performance Japanese universal saw blade makes fast and clean cuts along and across the grain. For rip cut, cross cut and diagonal cuts! The blade of this saw cannot be resharpened due to the impulse hardening process. It holds the sharpness for a long time. Japanese frame saw blades are thinner than European blades, therefore they are more delicate. Avoid rough treatment! Japanese blades for framesaws With these blades you can increase the quality and speed of your work. The teeth tips are laser hardened, which gives the edge a long life. Laser hardened teeth cannot be sharpened. These blades cut on the pull stroke or on the push stroke, you only have to turn the frame. Japanese frame saw blades are thinner than European blades, therefore they are more delicate. Avoid rough treatment! These blades are 0.6 mm thick, teeth offset is 0.9 mm. The cleanest cross cut you get with the crosscut blade.
