Magicut Files from NicholsonMagicut Files are essentially single-cut files in which the teeth are broken into smaller sections by grooves running at right angles. This breaks the teeth up into smaller sections and allows them to better clear themselves of filings. With non ferrous metals like aluminium and brass, one can achieve a very fast cut with relatively light pressure that at the same time leaves a remarkably smooth and clean surface. These files are also highly suitable for the rough sharpening of knives, hatchets and similar tools. |
