Small Japanese carving tools made by "KAWASEI"

These carving tools are longer and the steel thicker and more sturdy. The blades are of laminated steel. The handle is made of beech and very ergonomically shaped. Caution: as with all Japanese chisels and similar tools, the steel used is extremely hard, and so more brittle and easier to break than softer steels. These tools should not be used as a drill or a pry bar. Recommended for beginners and occasional carvers as well as for professionals. Total length 170 mm (6-3/4 in.) Blade length (1-1/2 in.) mm
