Adjusting the length:

Hold the thinner length of pole with your left hand and turn the thicker section with your right hand in the direction of your body. The holding mechanism is now released. Now you can adjust the shaft to the desired length. To lock the shaft in place, now simply turn the shaft in the opposite direction.

Changing the saw blade:

1. With the saw blade folded, take a small knife and pry up the plastic caps to reveal a small recess. You will see a small screw.
2. Loosen the screw with a screwdriver, turning them counter-clockwise. Be careful that the saw blade remains folded.
3. Now the blade can be removed.
4. Set a new blade in place, tighten the screws, and press the plastic caps firmly back into place.
