Rotating Vise for Woodworkers
This versatile woodworking vise does not only hold the workpiece. The position of the workpiece can be changed without releasing it.
You have to rout or chisel out a recessed area at your table. The manual includes a mounting template. We recommend a table thickness of 50 mm (2 inches). Of course you can use a thicker table but in this case you have to rout out a groove for the spindle hub and square beam at the underside of the table
This vise can be tilted from the normal position through 90° until the jaws are parallel to the bench top.
The vise rotates 360° around the Vise Hub and can be locked at any angle of circular rotation.
To clamp tapered workpiecees, the Front Jaw pivots 5° in either direction.
Each jaw is equipped with two adjustable Clamping Dogs for clamping irregular shaped pieces.
An Auxiliary Internal Jaw is provided for clamping tapered pieces greater than 5°. This jaw can be assembled and disassembled quickly for special purpose clamping.
