This is the largest Japanese folding saw available today (2009). The blade 500 mm long.

Black carrying case made of strong synthetic fiber is included.

A security screw protects against accidental opening or closing of the blade.

To open:
1. Unscrew the security screw.
2. Press the stopper and extend the blade.
3. Make sure the blade locks into place and then retighten the security screw.

To close:
1. Unscrew the security screw.
2. Press the stopper and fold back the blade.
3. For safety reasons the blade will stop halfway.
4. Press the stopper again to release and store the blade.
5. Tighten security screw.
